浙江省建设投资集团是成立最早的浙江国有企业，也是浙江最大的建筑业企业集团。前身是浙江建筑公司，成立于1949年7月11日，先后经历了浙江省城市建设局、浙江省建筑工程局、浙江省建筑工业厅、浙江省基本建设局和浙江省建筑工程总公司等14次变革，2002年3月重组成立为浙江省建设投资集团有限公司。

　　历经66年的发展，集团已发展成为产业链完整、专业门类齐全、市场准入条件好的大型企业集团。现拥有各类建筑业企业资质近120项，其中房建施工总承包特级资质4项，钢结构制造特级资质1项，施工总承包和专业总承包一级资质47项，甲级设计资质5项，获得资质为行业内最高资质的共计48项。同时拥有对外经营权、外派劳务权和进出口权，是浙江省建筑业走向世界参与国际建筑和贸易市场竞争的重要窗口，生产经营业务遍布国内31个省市自治区和阿尔及利亚、尼日利亚、日本、新加坡、香港等全球10多个国家和地区。

　　集团始终心系大局，发挥专业优势，积极履行“政治、经济、社会”三大责任。五十年代，承担了杭钢、衢化、镇海炼化等浙江大部分老工业企业和城乡基础设施建设任务;六七十年代，承担了我省的对外援建任务，包括科威特、朝鲜、几内亚和塞拉利昂等国家在内，共31个经援项目。积极参加2006年苍南救灾与灾后重建，被省委、省政府授予“浙江省抗台救灾先进集体”;积极参与2008年抗震救灾援建，创造了“八个第一”，并出色完成了包括东山安居小区、智慧岛教育园区等10个对口支援青川灾后重建项目，占浙江省援建任务总量的三分之一。近年来，集团还积极参与保障性安居工程建设、支援新疆西藏建设工作。每年保持二十万人规模以上的建筑工人队伍，有力支撑了十几万家庭、几十万人口的生存和发展，有力服务支持了国家的就业政策。

　　集团多年来综合经济技术指标保持全国各省区市同行领先地位，连续入选ENR全球250家最大国际承包商、中国承包商60强、中国企业500强、浙江省百强企业和纳税百强企业。荣获“全国五一劳动奖状”、“全国先进建筑施工企业”和“全国建设系统精神文明建设工作先进单位”等多项省部级称号。拥有1家博士后科研工作站和6家省级技术中心，获鲁班奖30项，国家优质工程奖39项，詹天佑大奖2项，“省级杯”近400项，自参评以来，连续23年蝉联浙江省建设工程钱江杯奖桂冠，承建的华能玉环电厂还入选新中国成立60周年“百项经典暨精品工程”，系浙江省唯一的入选精品工程，共获国家发明专利、实用新型专利、国家级工法、全国建筑业新技术应用示范工程等近400项国家级技术进步成果。

　　Zhejiang Construction Investment Groupis not only the earliest state-owned enterprise established in Zhejiang province, but also the largest construction enterprise group in the province. Zhejiang Construction Company, the predecessor of ZCIG was established on July 11th, 1949. It went through 14 times of transformation successively from Zhejiang Urban Construction Bureau, Zhejiang Construction Engineering Bureau, Zhejiang Construction Industry Bureau, Zhejiang Infrastructure Construction Bureau and Zhejiang Construction Engineering General Company etc. On March 2002, the group was reorganized and became Zhejiang Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd.

　　After 66 years’ development, our business has become a modern large enterprise group with complete industrial chain, full range of specialties and favorable market access. It possesses almost 120 qualifications in the construction field, four of which is for special-grade general contract of building construction, one for special-grade steel-structure manufacture, 47 for first-grade construction general contracts and professional contracts and 5 for A-grade design. It has obtained 48 qualifications which are the highest qualifications in this industry. The group is licensed to carry out foreign business, manpower export and import&export. It is the important door for Zhejiang construction field to go onto the world stage to participate in the competition on international construction and foreign trading. ZCIG is spreading its business in 31 provinces, cities and autonomous regions domestically, and over 10 countries and regions in Algeria, Nigeria, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong.

　　The group cares about the overall situation of the country. We are ready to implement three major responsibilities of politic, economic and society made by the Party committee and the government. In the 1950s, the group undertook most of the former industrial enterprises projects in Zhejiang province such as construction of Hangzhou Steel Plant, Quzhou Chemical Plant and Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Company(ZRCC) and infrastructure construction in urban and rural areas. In the 1960s and 1970s, the group completed in total 31 foreign-aid projects in Kuwait, North Korea, Guinea and Sierra Leone for the province. We participated in Cangnan disaster relief and reconstruction and was awarded as “Zhejiang Advanced Collective of Typhoon relief”by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government in 2006. The group actively assisted in the earthquake relief work, creating 8 items of No. 1. It also successfully completed 10 post-disaster reconstruction projects, including Dongshan District and Wisdom Island Education Park, accounting for one third of the assisting construction works of the province. Recently, the group also took part in low-income housing construction projects and supporting construction work for Xinjiang and Tibet. The group is keeping the scale of 200,000 construction workers every year, supporting the life and development of over hundreds of thousands of families and population, which served and supported for the state employment policy.

　　The comprehensive economic and technical index has taken the lead among the fellow companies in other provinces, cities and regions domestically for many years and successively listed in ENR Top250 Global International Contractor, Top 60 Chinese Construction Contractor, Top 500 Chinese enterprise and Top 100 Enterprise and Top 100 Taxpayer in Zhejiang province.ZCIG is also awarded as National May 1 Labor Award, National Excellent Construction Enterprise and National Spiritual Civilization Work Excellent Unit in Construction Industry at provincial or ministerial level.The group has a post-PhD science and technology research station and 6 technical centers at provincial level. It has won 30 Luban prize, 39 National Excellent Works, 2 Jeme Tien Yow prize for Chinese civil works and almost 400 Provincial-level Cup which has been holding the laurel crown of Qianjiang Cup for successive 23 years. Huaneng Yuhuan Power Plant constructed by our group is chosen as 100 Classic and High-quality Construction as New China founded for 60 years. It is the only one high-quality construction being chosen in Zhejiang Province. ZCIG has almost 400 items of national grade technical achievements such as patented inventions, practical patents, technical methods and new technical application model projects in construction field.
